face light Infinite Nodes of Perception Key to Infinite Possibilties

I’ve had a couple of odd books in my library for about 15 years, they tell the story of a snow boarder who was mentored by a couple of Nepalese monks in Anapurna, as I have been researching again for a new project I have been going through my library looking for great quotes and experiences to share. Master F’s wisdom on having a perception able to take in the infinite possibilities available to us in every moment is perfect for me to share with you today:

MF: ” By allowing your second attention to move your mind to a different and higher nodal point, you gain a more advanced way to problem-solve.”

FL: ” How do you use your second attention?

Why you meditate of course!” The Oracle shouted out with a laugh.

MF: “Of course!

FL: “But how is meditating on an equation going to cause me to solve it, or any other problem, for that matter? As I mieditated on it, wouldn’t I just be thinking even more about the equation or the problem and get even more wrapped up and frustrated by it?

“No,” Master Fway replied simply. “The true answer to your question is to understand how meditation enables you to alter the nodal points of perception within your mind.”

FL: “I think that this might be easier for me to understand if you would first explain to me what a nodal point of perception is.”

MF: “A nodal point of perception is the view that you ahve of life at any given moment in time and space. if you were able to see into your second attention, as the Oracle and I can, you would see that you actually have countless nodal points within your nonphysical mind, deep wihtin your sedond attentions’s perceptual field.

Most people have access to only one or two of these nodal points of perception,” he continued. “Person’s whom most people refer to as geniusis have access to perhaps a half dozen or so of their nodal points of perception.

In reality there are an infinite number of nodal points of perception hidden wihtin your second attention, In and through the practice of meditation, you can learn about and experience many or all of these nodal points. When you are very skillful in yoga (inner yoga not yoga as excercise), you can even sonciously change nodal points at will, selecting the proper nodal point for whatever life situation or problem you currently need to deal with or solve.”

…”The only difficulty you are having with this is that you lack a clear understanding of what meditation truly is. Now instead of trying to grasp what I am saying, just let my words flow into your second attention. Don’t try to understand or analyse them, and perhaps you will comprehend my explanation without my having to explain it.

Whenever you meditate on a problem you need to deal with or solve, don’t think about it at all.”

I have learned over many years of meditation that most people get caught up in trying to stop their thoughts or meditate on nothing, when it is all much easier than this – the truth is you will think so allow your thoughts to flow the real trick to this is to allow those thoughts you are going to have anyway to flow – really flow – letting them just flow – in and out of your mind without attaching yourself to any of them- allowing all thought to come and go without emotion, without attaching another thought to them – just flow like a river.

When you do this for long enough suddenly you will find the place of no thought as your mind gets used to the idea that your thoughts can just keep moving through your mind without attachment to any of them – you will find that they slow – slow down enough for you to find the space between thoughts. It is there just like the space between the atoms, and the molecules of solid matter – you will find that you can go between – time and space. I just call it Between and of course I have then labelled it, but only when I am thinking and talking while I am there I just – enjoy!

It is there in Between that you will find your second attention and when you go into a meditation with the idea to solve a problem you will find that the answer arises for you and when you come out of meditation the answer is in your thoughts. Lots of geniuses use this even when they don’t know they are, Einstein said that when he had a problem he couldn’t solve he would allow his imagination to take him on “wild flights of fancy” or allow the answer to come out of his dreams.

Now I want to get to the really cool part of all of this the part where I tell you all about combining your “countless nodal points of perception” with the quantum laws of the universe. Ready?

Scientifically speaking we live in a quantum universe where reality is all just an illusion – yes I know this is a hard one to get your head around – try putting it into your second attention and stop trying to get your head around it icon smile Infinite Nodes of Perception Key to Infinite Possibilties . Suffice it to say science has proved that until you decide that the moon is there it doesn’t exist!

To quote Einstein again, “Reality is an illusion, albeit a very persistant one.” It is actually our thoughts that create our reality, matter is just illusion hardened into being by persistant thoughts and beliefs. This means that we have a choice as to what our reality looks like, yes I know you and I cannot turn the moon bright lolly pink on our own, this is where inherited and communal thoughts and beliefs come into it. Really what we expect to see and experience is a part of our reality too and this just comes back to what we have been taught by past generations and our live to date to expect and this is all about what we think and believe.

So let’s all agree that as TUT says, “Thoughts become things.”

If this is true, and scientifically speaking it is (I could explain it to you, but the science is tricky to explain in a short blog post – but it is so cool!), it means that according to what we think we are able to create our reality.

Basically it works a little like this: scientifically speaking the whole universe is in a wave state (just imagine an ocean) everything that could be solid it not solid until we look at it, when we look at it (called the Observer effect – The Copenhagen Interpretation) it coalesces into a solid (matter) like a part of the ocean turning into ice (an iceburg). These iceburgs can take many varied forms and shapes such as a table, chair, a relationship, an experience… reality.

When we stop looking at it the iceburg melts away again until we look at it again and then we will see what we expect to see. Infinite possibilities exist for us right there, nothing is set in stone, everything even after it has been observed and becomes a solid can be melted and reshaped, when we choose our reality mindfully, conscious intention will create a nicer place for us, with more loving and exciting experiences. Rough nonscientific explanation but hopefully gets the idea across.

Now I want you to imagine the infinite possibilities of our universe through matter becoming real only after we have decided what we intend to experience combined with Master F’s explanation of the countless nodal points of perception.

When we are in our ‘second attention’ that place where thoughts flow and understanding comes from having an infinite view of the infinite choices we have laid before us and we create our reality from this place allowing life to form around us from conscious decisions made in this state – WOW!

Having a perception of the infinite choices availabe to us in every situation and then creating our reality after choosing the appropriate node of perception and allowing that reality to coalesce into our reality is for me the ultimate in conscious creation. We can only choose our most life fulfilling reality when we are aware of the infinite choices availabe to use in every situation and this is where those infinite nodal points of perception come into their own.

A long time ago I did a really silly thing, while in a very deep state of meditation I heard a voice ask me this question: “If you could have one thing in this lifetime what would it be.” My reply was, “Wisdom.” The very millisecond I said it i heard a bell ring and a kind of click as if something had settled into place in some cosmic way and I immediately felt very afraid of what I had done, that there was no taking it back, that I had put my foot on a path from which I would not emerge unscathed.

I was right, but now, years later all I can say is that it is worth is, please know I am not yet wise, but I have no doubt that this is the path I am treading and it is joy, not necessarily easy, but joyous just the same.

So to end this discussion my intent is as always to make using my infinite nodes of perception to create my reality a choice I make conscious as often as I can remember to make it, so that it becomes a habit of mind. My ulitimate goal is to be in this state in every moment of my life, however that is not where I am right now, so I do the best that I can and that is good enough for now as it is the habit of instilling the habit that is most important.

Can you make the same intention? Imagine what this world would be like if we all responded to the happenings of our lives from our second attention and created our reality from a state of being conscious of the infinite choices we have in every situation – we live in an infinite field of quantum possibility – use it wisely!
