You Are Loved You are Divine

Mother Theresa once said:

“When you know how much God (the Divine, the Universe) is in love with you then you can only live your

life radiating that love.”

In love with me? Of course! The divine can only love itself, it is after all divine and understands that loving itself is a key factor in being divine and YOU, as an expression of the divine are loved. One of the things that causes us to feel apart from this most incredible form of limitless unconditional love is the illusion of separation we feel.

We are born as complete and seemingly separate parts of the whole universe, even knowing there is no such thing as a separate part of the universe often doesn’t translate back to us in our individual form. We as humans often feel lonely, different, separate, alone, empty and unloved – that nothing could be further from the truth hardly crosses our minds. We must come to know in every cell of our bodies that we are only an expression of a larger whole and therefore are not only whole ourselves, but complete and not only are we never alone, but we are actually the whole itself.

Usually we only get just a glimpse of this expanded version of ourselves during an especially deep meditation or at an unusually deep moment of expanded awareness. We are fractals of the whole universe and as such not only are we a small part of the universe expressing itself as an individual at this time, we are also a larger part of other smaller fractals of ourselves.

I can explain it like this. Imagine a vast, infinite ocean of water (energy, light, love) and every now and then within that sea of light/energy there is a whirlpool, a vortex which looks and feels almost separate from the ocean itself. A whirlpool has definition, mass, speed, influence on the water around it (it can bring things into itself or spit them back out again) it is for all intents and purposes a separate thing.  From our expanded view we can see quite clearly that this whirlpool is nothing more than a vortex of water (light, energy, love) moving faster than the rest of the sea itself. However if we were to go into the consciousness of that same whirlpool and see it from that point of view we would percieve only that we felt separate and different from everything else around us. We might even see other whirlpools and notice that they too seem separate and made from different stuff that the ocean from which we were formed. This is the illusion!

Expand your view, see yourself from a ‘big picture’ point of view, you are complete, you are whole, you are infinite, you are the light, you are the divine and therefore you are love and the divine that is you is totally in love with the spinning seemingly independent version of itself that is expressing itself as you.

Now, knowing this who are you going to express yourself as today? In what ways does this knowledge change your perspective of your life and yourself? How will this knowledge change the way you express yourself to others and interact with your environment?

As the infinite divine will you see the whole world as you? That jerk who cut you off is you expressing another part of you perhaps only to give you the chance to express yourself in a divine way. Perhaps when you express yourself in divine ways you will begin to perceive yourself and your world in totally different ways? Interestingly, when you do, you tend to find that everything begins to flow in your life, that love is more accessable, friendship more deeply expressed in your life and love comes easily into your field. When you feel loved completely, unconditionally, fully loved your whole world changes and you can more fully express your own divinity.

Life changes… YOU ARE LOVED!
